Use of Defibrillators
Presented By MFTG Group.
A vital course for those with access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to maintain the required level of operational skills as per UK Resuscitation Guidelines.
Duration - Half Day with no examination. Normal hours 9am - 12.30pm or 1.00pm - 16.30pm
Aims and Objectives:
To provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to confidently operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Course Contents:
Resuscitation Guidelines
CPR Update
Training in safe use of AED
Qualification
On completion an attendance certificate will be issued
( Current UK Resuscitation Guidelines recommend that these skills are refreshed at least annually)
Basic First Aid Certificate

Duration: 3 days including assessment. Normal hours 9am - 4.45pm each day
Training At MFTG
Price includes refreshments, handbook and assessment fees. Unfortunately lunches will not be provided at this time.
Entry Requirements
None specific, however candidates require to be physically fit with good lung function and a willingness to become involved with emergencies.
Qualification - Candidates will be assessed during and at the end of the course and successful completion will result in the award of an approved "First Aid at Work" Certificate which is valid for three years.
Annual half day refresher training will be provided FREE to MFTG certificate holders.
